Oversized

Just busy at the shop making some custom orders and I decided that we needed to redo the Original Tee. This time it is going to be an oversize print that almost makes one feel heroic.
Actually we are planning on it being worn by our team riders as they form up this month, MORE TO COME.
Its been a busy holiday season so order while we still have your favorites!

If these teddies can so can you!

This is a great shot of a couple of Bears that were strapped to a weather balloon made by a class of students. Now this must feel so good to have something so simple take itself to the very edge of space. In 2 hours this balloon reached the edge of our atmosphere.
I wonder what you could do, I mean how many of us have tucked crazy, fun, insane ideas that could result in amazing images like this? Too bad we don't see more of it everyday.
This inspired me to do something fun today, I hope it does the same for you.

Our Point exactly...

I don't want to come off as hating anybody but I do hate the idea of taking something that is intended for help and promote healing and perverting it to make a buck. It makes no sense as to why in good conscience you would degrade a issue like domestic violence. True the shirts have become iconic in themselves but the meaning behind them should never loose reverence as to how important of an issue physical abuse is in our culture.
Many people are hurting and need advocates and rescue, even those who self mutilate.
Sure I have a sense of humor but why would I laugh at a shirt that degrades instead of admonishes the women in my life?
Poor taste.
I want to offer the alternative to all things like this. Something that has meaning and value, but never as much value as you!

Winter Reveal Party!!!!!

Here we were gathered to unveil the new designs of Restored Clothing. It was a fabulous night of fashion and charity. We were able to bring in donations and supplies for the drop in center on 6th street here in Chico. There were so many amazing people involved. One of the biggest draws were the stories behind the designs. We plan to post these stories on our website so you can see how our ideas about what Restored is drawn out into a design.

Love this!

Hey, It has been fun meeting new people and hearing stories about relationships, success, tragedy, and mostly new music. I just came across this photo from a show we were at in Lodi, Ca. This is a great shot of two members from the band, THE FALL OF AUTUMN. They are a very energetic and dynamic on stage. They had 7 guys rockn' out at once, amazingly no head injuries.
We get more thankful everyday we can grow Restored!

A conference for the Restored

Hey!
We are here in Sacramento getting to know youth workers from all over the world.
They flock together this time every year to rest, learn and recharge. Let me tell you from experience, it is tough being a youth worker. However these folks would trade one doubtful day dealing with program cuts, angry parents, and cleaning another stain on the sanctuary carpet (been there. They are on the front lines of where young people make life or death decisions and they are the ones there to pull kids out of the mess and to give their hearts and souls the love and nourishment they need.
People are getting to know us and seem to love what we are about!

Muddy Buddies!

Every year pairs of brave souls take on the 6-7 mile course and 5 obstacles. At the start of the race, one team member runs and one rides the bike. At the 1st obstacle, the rider drops the bike, completes the obstacle, and begins running. The runner will arrive, complete the obstacle, find their bike, and begin riding. Teams then continue leapfrogging each other through the entire course. At the end of the race, racers crawl through the infamous Mud Pit crossing the finish line together!
This Year Restored Clothing was proud to support a team in the San Jose Race.
Our team was made up of Josh Leach and Tiffany Siemens. They did us all proud and made sure they ground plenty of the infamous mud into their Jersey's.
Restored is looking for ways to support you! If you have a cause or want us to support you in an effort that aligns with our vision then please e-mail us at restored@restoredclothing.com

SWC wrap up

It was fast paced, full of energy, and man we made so many new friends. Spirit West Coast, Del Mar was good to Restored. There were many exciting moments that stand out such as hooking up with artists like We as Human and Choir of the Broken, or having our bud Paul Wright graciously show off some of our threads on stage. However the most rewarding part were the stories that came out as we shared the purpose behind Restored. Many people who took the time to ask what we were about had many events, people, regrets, or memories that they found could emulate what the message we are trying to send out with our clothing. To us this was a rich time as we were well accepted in the scene of this venue and our sincere thanks goes out to our new friends who we got to share laughs and jokes with. We look forward to many more opportunities to grow the community of Restored!
A very special thank you to Meagan Sells! She is an amazing person who has put so much time, creativity and professionalism that has really brought us to an esteemed level. We are so fortunate to work with her and couldn't have done SWC without her.
We cannot believe the amount of joy, eagerness, and fun we had with our other associate, Robbie Chelman. Robbie was fantastic in the way he made others understand the vision of Restored and we were so thankful for his flexibility and desire to see R.C.C. succeed. Thank you Robbie!
We would like to invite everyone to check out some of our new friends.

Spirit West Coast Day 1

So getting here was the hard part and being here has been the funniest so far! As a group we managed to blow a transmission, have a 2 year old puking episode, drive through a freak downpour in Burbank, sleep in wet bedding because of the downpour, and still do it all with a smile. Spirit West Coast has been amazing to be a part of and the venue is at a beautiful fairgrounds in Del Mar. Restored is making a ton of new friends, and we are excited to see what comes out of this weekend.

Having the opportunity to show off some of our new clothes in front of a captive audience is always a welcomed treat. On Saturday April 12th, Restored was able to showcase some of its spring and summer fashions for the Younglives Tea party. With over 150 guests attending, it was a wonderful late spring afternoon full of tasty scones and hot tea.

We have launched and broke the atmosphere

This feels like the start of something big!

We are so thankful to all of those who attended and now have been sent out to share the hopes and purposes of R.C.C.! Remember we are changing lives with every purchase! Thank you Luke Adams and crew and our friends Surrogate! Please watch the video of our news coverage! -Mica
