Our Point exactly...

I don't want to come off as hating anybody but I do hate the idea of taking something that is intended for help and promote healing and perverting it to make a buck. It makes no sense as to why in good conscience you would degrade a issue like domestic violence. True the shirts have become iconic in themselves but the meaning behind them should never loose reverence as to how important of an issue physical abuse is in our culture.
Many people are hurting and need advocates and rescue, even those who self mutilate.
Sure I have a sense of humor but why would I laugh at a shirt that degrades instead of admonishes the women in my life?
Poor taste.
I want to offer the alternative to all things like this. Something that has meaning and value, but never as much value as you!

Winter Reveal Party!!!!!

Here we were gathered to unveil the new designs of Restored Clothing. It was a fabulous night of fashion and charity. We were able to bring in donations and supplies for the drop in center on 6th street here in Chico. There were so many amazing people involved. One of the biggest draws were the stories behind the designs. We plan to post these stories on our website so you can see how our ideas about what Restored is drawn out into a design.

Love this!

Hey, It has been fun meeting new people and hearing stories about relationships, success, tragedy, and mostly new music. I just came across this photo from a show we were at in Lodi, Ca. This is a great shot of two members from the band, THE FALL OF AUTUMN. They are a very energetic and dynamic on stage. They had 7 guys rockn' out at once, amazingly no head injuries.
We get more thankful everyday we can grow Restored!

A conference for the Restored

Hey!
We are here in Sacramento getting to know youth workers from all over the world.
They flock together this time every year to rest, learn and recharge. Let me tell you from experience, it is tough being a youth worker. However these folks would trade one doubtful day dealing with program cuts, angry parents, and cleaning another stain on the sanctuary carpet (been there. They are on the front lines of where young people make life or death decisions and they are the ones there to pull kids out of the mess and to give their hearts and souls the love and nourishment they need.
People are getting to know us and seem to love what we are about!

Muddy Buddies!

Every year pairs of brave souls take on the 6-7 mile course and 5 obstacles. At the start of the race, one team member runs and one rides the bike. At the 1st obstacle, the rider drops the bike, completes the obstacle, and begins running. The runner will arrive, complete the obstacle, find their bike, and begin riding. Teams then continue leapfrogging each other through the entire course. At the end of the race, racers crawl through the infamous Mud Pit crossing the finish line together!
This Year Restored Clothing was proud to support a team in the San Jose Race.
Our team was made up of Josh Leach and Tiffany Siemens. They did us all proud and made sure they ground plenty of the infamous mud into their Jersey's.
Restored is looking for ways to support you! If you have a cause or want us to support you in an effort that aligns with our vision then please e-mail us at restored@restoredclothing.com
